Movie: The pursuit of happiness(2006)

This movie is about a man named Chris, a struggling salesman who is hoping to change his life. After his wife leaves him with his son, he is out of money and he loses his home and is left living on the streets with his song.  In this movie there is no presence of violence, however, the main character is seen arguing or shouting with other characters in the movie.  For example, he argued with his wife from time to time and an old friend. Also, this movie had little to no use of profanity; there was only one scene that showed the “F” word graphitised on a wall.  Furthermore, the director creates a connection between the audience and the main character, the director allowed the audience to see the struggles the main character had to undergo in order for the main character to change his life. The audience becomes emotionally attached to the Chris and his son as they learn more about the sacrifices that were made in order to get food, or a bed in the homeless shelter.  Chris was searching to find a steady job became interested in taking on a job as a stockbroker, but before he can receive any pay as a stockbroker he must go through 6 months of training and testing. The main character, with motivation and positive energy, uses his knowledge and skills to achieve his goal even while his other competitors had the upper hand he never gave up. He was motivated to change, so he could provide his son with a better life, therefore, he pushed himself harder through the 6 months of training and then came out with a top score in the tests.
