Dr. Michael Mockovak, the cofounder of Clearly Lasik eye surgery centers, has been found guilty of hatching a murder-for-hire plot targeting his partner and the company's former president. Mockovak is 53 years old , was escorted out of King County Court in Seattle Thursday morning and taken off to jail following the guilty decision in the plot to kill his partner and Mockovak's lawyer told the court that he was having personal and financial problems and he was only joking about hiring the Russian mafia to kill his business partner. Mockovak and Dr. Joseph King each had a $4-million life insurance policy on one another. Mockovak believed that King was "greedy" because of his apparent plans to split the company. Mockovak was also angry with Klock, a former NHL player, for sue the company after he was fired.
Opinion: think it is ridicules how some people can kill other people just for money. A doctor killed his partner and ex brother- in –law because he thought that they were greedy. It was shocking when I read that a business associate was allegedly planning and ordering his murder. I think that he should not get out of jail on bail. People like him should’ve been punished hard so next time whenever someone thinks about planning to murder someone for money that should think about this mans punishment.
